Yair and John Honored At “40 Under 40” Awards Ceremony

BALTIMORE, MD --- Baltimore City’s Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) announced today that two entrepreneurs associated with its incubator program were recently honored at the Baltimore Business Journal “40 Under 40” 2007 Luncheon Awards Ceremony.

Yair Flicker and John Trupiano are the co-presidents and co-founders of SmartLogic Solutions (SLS), a Baltimore-based software development and consulting firm located in the ETC. Their Company specializes in creating interactive data-driven web applications. SLS is dedicated to providing clients with efficient, scalable software solutions to their everyday business problems.

“I am very pleased to see John and Yair honored as part of this select group and am pleased that ETC has been able to play a role in their success,” said Ann Lansinger, Executive Director of the ETC. “They bring a sense of urgency and commitment to their business that sets a fine example for other entrepreneurs.”

The Baltimore Business Journal Awards recognize forty up-and-comers under the age of 40 who are climbing the corporate ladder, making a name for themselves and their businesses, and finding the time to contribute to their community. Their stories are inspiring not only from the perspective of the challenges they face along the way, but also because of the creative ways in which they have achieved success.
